The Zig Zag building is an impressive piece of architecture with an extensive 187,000 sq. ft. of high end commercial office space surrounded by restaurants, retail and imaginative public realm, a perfect office space for the new Jupiter asset management headquarters.
The project started with BWI approaching OBCE to be its chosen supplier to provide and install all catering areas within the project. The install included a commercial kitchen, pantry and various tea points throughout the three levels.
The project was originally valued at 230K and was a logistical test being the installation took place on the 7th, 8th and 9th floor of the building.
The projects program only allowed us 12 weeks from order to hand over the facility, with extensive joinery coordination OBCE had to be conscious of other trades when carrying out VE for the client, it meant that it was a mean feat; but OBCE, the consultant and builder all pulled together to make it happen.
